Rado had its historical beginning in 1917 in Lengnau, a small town in Switzerland. It was formed by three brothers Fritz, Ernst, and Werner as Schlup and Co. Clock factory. Later, in 1957 their remarkable success story took a new beginning with the launch of their first watch collection under the name Rado Uhren AG.
The Rado Hyperchrome Watch model R32112103 is a bold fusion of design and elegance. A stainless steel bezel adorned with meticulously selected diamonds is the central attraction of this watch. Its round silver dial representing silver index hour, markers gives it a stunning look. Moreover, luminescent silver hour, minute and second’s hand ensure time legibility even in partial darkness. Coming in a highly polished stainless steel case, this time piece offers superior endurance. The case measures 31 mm in diameter and 9 mm in thickness. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal window safeguards its dial, protecting it from daily wear and tear. The case also features a screw-down case back that protects its interiors from damage.
A pull and push crown fixed to the bezel lets you regulate the time. The silver lustrous bracelet adds to its overall charming appeal. It comes with a deployment clasp with push button that lets you wear and remove the watch with ease.
Powered with the Swiss manufactured Quartz movement, this watch is famous for delivering long-lasting service. The date window positioned near 3 o’clock displays the date. With water resistant up to 50m, this watch remains protected even under water. So you can wear it while swimming or snorkelling in low depth.
With a minimalist design conception, Rado launched the Dia 67 Glissiere in 1976. With an edge-to-edge formation, its case is covered with the metallised sapphire crystal window. Design being the secret of these Rado watches, they are famous worldwide even today.
In 1917, in Switzerland, three brothers—Fritz, Ernst and Werner Schlup—opened a clockwork factory called Schlup & Co. From its humble beginnings, it is this same company that we today known as Rado. In 1957, exactly 40 years since its inception, the company changed its name to Rado Uhren AG and presented its first watch collection.
The monobloc case of the ceramic watches in this new Rado family represents a breakthrough in technology as well as a step forward in design. Lightweight, extremely comfortable and eye-catching, the Rado HyperChrome is the ultimate every day all occasion timepiece.
Key milestones in Rado’s impressive history so far include the world’s first scratch resistant watch, pioneering high-tech ceramic in watchmaking, the monobloc injected ceramic case and the introduction of touch technology in a ceramic watch. The brand was also the first to use plasma high-tech ceramic in the world.
