History
Rado, earlier known as the Schlup & Co. originated in a small town called Lengnau, Switzerland.  In 1917, three brothers Firtz, Ernst and Werner Schlup together, initially, produced watch movements only. They produced their first collection of watches in 1957. It was in this year that the brand got its name. Using high tech material for creating timeless ceramic beauties got them fame in the global watch industry. They stunned the world with their unrivalled designs and techniques.
 
Design
The Rado Original Watch model R12413164 is a unique time companion for men. It features an oval case, of 35 mm, made of yellow gold plated metal that is known for being durably hard. The black metallized dial imparts it a dashing appearance. It represents gold finished hour, minute and second hands that show time with precision. Also, digit hour indexes mark the hours, assuring that the time is legible even in dim light zones. A gold plated push and pull crown is fixed to the gold bezel for adjusting the time. Closed back and scratch resistant sapphire crystal window protects the dial and intricate gears from regular wear and tear.
Its stainless steel bracelet magnificently showcases polished gold plating that adds to its beauty. Moreover, the fold over clasp securely ties the watch to your wrist.

Powered by the innovative Swiss made automatic (self-winding) movement, this Rado Original watch is known for rendering long term service. The date aperture positioned at 6’o clock displays the day and date. Being water resistant up to 30m, this watch remains protected from accidental spills, rendering it splash proof.
