History
Rado, a manufacturer of luxury Swiss watches, has its headquarters in Lengnau, Switzerland. Rado watches boast of innovative design and superior craftsmanship. The brand is celebrated for its use of scratch-proof and unique materials like ceramics, sapphire crystal, hard metal (titanium carbide and tungsten), and lanthanum. It is considered a pioneer in using scratch-proof materials.

Design
The exquisite Rado Coupole R22859923 for women, has a round dial made of stainless steel with rose PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) coating, which provides high colour stability and makes the coating highly durable. Its bezel is studded with fine quality diamonds giving it a luxurious look. The watch features a signature chased mother of pearl dial that exhibits elegance. Diamond indexes studded in rose gold PVD mark the hours. The dauphine shaped hands are made of stainless steel and are coloured rose gold.
Coupole’s dial is protected by a scratch resistant sapphire crystal that renders the watch shatterproof. You can easily adjust the time with the rose gold crown. The stainless steel bracelet is dual toned, showcasing the middle segment in rose gold coating and the two sides in steel. You can wear and remove the watch effortlessly with the deployant clasp at the back.

Features
This watch is water resistant up to 30 metres, so accidental splashes of water will not damage it. It is equipped with a battery powered Quartz movement, known for its accuracy.

Interesting Facts
The first scratch-proof watch of the world was the Rado Diastar, which was manufactured by Rado in 1962. The Rado Couple was launched in 1987, and it was the first watch by Rado in white high-tech ceramic and a spherical sapphire crystal.
