About the Nomos Glashutte Lux Collection

History

The primordial ideology of Nomos was taken aback with the introduction of two new collections, the Lux and Tetra. Introduced in 2013, the Nomos Glashutte Lux collection is an example of fine watchmaking by German watchmakers.

Essence & Features

Distancing itself from the blueprint of Nomos, the Nomos Glashutte Lux collection is Nomos’s entry into fancy watches. The Lux collection is encased in a unique case, something between an oval and a square. This simple watch reflects the passionate persona of Nomos in creating timepieces that are elegant and simple. With this elegance, the Lux collection offers quality with opulence. Inside the dial, there are two hands and nothing else to concentrate on. The depth of minimalism is complimented by two case materials, white and rose gold. Sitting inside the minimalistic luxury section, the Nomos Glashutte Lux is a tantalizing addition to your collection.

Movements

The handcrafted DUW 2002 was specifically designed for the Nomos Glashutte Lux collection. The manually winding movement is crafted in the shape of a tonneau and is able to reserve power for 84 hours.

Fitted inside the Lux model, the movement shares most of its DNA from the revered DUW 1001. A perfect balance of mechanical complexity and aesthetics, the DUW 2002 is decorated with 23 jewels and delivers a power reserve of approximately 84 hours, the best power reserve in the arsenal of Nomos.
