History
Longines was founded by Auguste Agassiz in 1832, and is currently being regulated by the Swatch Group. Its 183 year old elite watch-making reputation makes the brand inherit its winged hourglass logo proudly. Carrying the company’s tradition ahead to enter an athletic luxury division, the HydroConquest collection was launched to overcome all the necessities of demanding sportsmen and women. This collection blends elegance with technical innovation in each of its time pieces, while extending this line with new models in bright vibrant colours over the years. Watches developed in this collection feature both fully automatic and quartz movements.

Design
The Longines HydroConquest L3.689.4.03.6 signifies a blend of deep aquatic shades with the ever-adventurous yearning for magnificence of underwater athletes. This men’s sports utility time piece or Diver’s watch comes with a uni-directional rotating blue toned bezel made of polished steel, with a blue lacquered and polished dial. It offers great scratch resistant qualities thanks to a sapphire crystal finish glass coating over its case window. Beautifully crafted luminous Arabic numerals mark hourly intervals of time. The dial also possesses Super Lumi-Nova coated silver toned hour and minute hands and a second’s arm of the same material topped with a red arrowhead for perfect legibility even in low light conditions. Its outer rim consists of etched out minute and second marking indexes that enhance its athletic appeal.  With a 41mm wide case diameter, this masterpiece holds the bezel with a steel bracelet available with folding clasp for a firm grip on the wearer’s wrist.

This watch holds incredible leak-proof durability against water immersion or any other form of liquid contact up to a huge depth of 300 metres, ensuring its internal elements an isolated environment. With the regular timekeeping functions of hours, minutes, and seconds, this watch offers a date display window located at 3 o’ clock, hence enabling it to support every in-depth under aquatic feature even where others fail to prevail.
