History
Founded by Aguste Agassiz, Longines has had its base at Saint-Imier, Switzerland since 1832. The company's watches reflect a strong devotion to tradition, elegance and performance. With many years of experience as a timekeeper for world championships in sports, Longines is a member of the Swatch Group Ltd, the world’s leading manufacturer of horological products. The brand, known for its winged hourglass logo and ‘Aviators’ watches, now has outlets in over 140 countries.

Design
The Longines Master Collection L2.628.4.78.6 has exceptional machinery encased in a simple yet stunningly designed case. This stainless steel cases which measures 39 mm in diameter, gives the watch a beautiful and classic appeal. Protected by the scratch-resistant crystal, the silver dial has an intricate pattern with the hour and minute hands pointing at Arabic numerals. These black numerals are set against the while of the dial, thus they can be clearly read. The hands are made of blue steel and give the watch a distinct character- a trademark of Longines designing. A stainless steel corn attached to the side of the case, aids in effective winding. With beautiful stainless steel links adorning the bracelet, the watch luxuriously celebrates manhood while it sits over your wrist.

The cases range from perfectly circular to the magnificent tonneau, made of materials such as stainless steel and 18K gold. Encased by sapphire crystal glass, each watch from this line is scratch-resistant for long enduring timekeeping. Most crowns are fluted to allow easy time adjustment along with a rugged element of appeal. The dials are offered in options ranging from shades of black to white, with particular models offering the unique shade of gilt or mother of pearl. Longines adorns the dials and bezels of specific watches with brilliant diamonds for a glamourous and sophisticated allure.
