Product Description
History
Breitling launched its famous Navitimer Collection in the 1950’s and even today this watch range remains one of the most popular of Brietling's collections. In 2012, the collection celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Design
The Breitling Navitimer World Travel H2432212/B928/757P/H20D.1 for men sports a round, black dial with Baton style hands in gold. A date display is placed at 3 o’clock and the three sub-dials are positioned at 6 o’clock, 9 o’clock and 12 o’clock respectively. The case window is made of cambered, glareproof sapphire crystal which provides a clear view of the dial.
An 18 carat gold, 43 mm case is mounted by a bi-directional bezel that features a slide rule. This tool is useful for pilots in solving complex calculations while flying. A winding screw is attached to the side of the case. Its lock feature protects the timepiece against faulty winding. Two push buttons to control the stopwatch mechanism are flanked on either side of the screw. The brown, crocodile strap with white finishing adds to the masculine grace of this timekeeper. A deployment clasp enables safe fastening of the device to your wrist.
Features
With a Breitling caliber 24 movement, this self winding, mechanical chronograph tells time with absolute military precision. It has a power reserve of 42 hours and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Being water resistant to a depth of 30 meters the timepiece is safe against minor water splashes.
Interesting facts
The Breitling Navitimer World Travel has been named so because it features two timezones. This timepiece features a red-tipped additional central hand that tells you time in another part of the world. The case back is also imprinted with time zones of the world’s important cities.
