About the Baume & Mercier Capeland Collection
History
The Baume & Mercier Capeland collection takes its name from the chronograph offered by the brand in the 1990s. In the 90s Capeland gained traction and the brand decided to launch it as a collection in 2011.
Features
The Capeland collection inside the Baume & Mercier hangar features chronograph meters on the dial and a date window at the 6 o’clock marker. The chronographs depict a running seconds sub-dial at 3 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 9. These counters are further complemented by legible index markers. The case is modestly proportionate with a diameter of 42mm and is available in both polished and matte finishes. With adequately sized leaf hands, reading time is easier. Moreover, the hands are equipped with luminescent material for better visibility.
Movement
The Baume & Mercier Capeland collection is fitted with the automatic ETA 2894-2 movement. The Swiss movement offers a decent power reserve of approximately 42 hours vibrating at 28,800 vph.

This timepiece is inspired from model of 1948 combined with elegance and style.It has a 44mm case with a 'Vintage design' which makes this watch a perfect wear for any occasion. The Baume & Mercier Capeland MOA10006 comes with a black leather strap and white dial with two counters tachymetric and telemetric.The watch is driven by a La Joux Perret 8147-2 which has an automatic movement.
So it doesn't matter whether you are dressing for a Business meeting or a wedding, if you are looking for a watch which symbolizes sophisticated design and supremacy of Swiss engineering, you should stop looking for it now. The Baume & Mercier Capeland has it all. -

Baume & Mercier produced Capeland is a bold 44 mm dial steel watch that replicates the vintage collections made during 1948. This timepiece is driven by a La Joux Perret 8147-2 automatic movement, made with 27 Jewels and finished with circular-grained finished plate and bridges. B&M specialized flyback function is the USP of this seamless timekeeper. The off-white dial display two counters and studded with Arabic Numerals that are guided by Blued steel Breguet-type hands. The date-display aperture is placed between 4 and 5. The outer ring (around the numerals) features two graduated scales of tachymetre and telemetric. The watch is worn with leather strap and pin buckle. A perfect combination of austerity and superiority crafted for those; who love to be noticed in business meeting.
