About the Zenith Chronomaster Collection
Zenith introduced the Chronomaster collection in 1994, designed after the timepiece that first housed the legendary El Primero calibre, the world’s first automatic high-frequency chronograph calibre, in 1969. Since then, the collection has become a mainstay of the brand's portfolio and the best platform to demonstrate the exceptional performance of the El Primero calibres.
Bold Aesthetics
The Zenith Chronomaster is a celebrated collection of high-precision chronograph watches with a striking design, characterised by a variety of case types and sizes. From the vintage-inspired 37mm tonneau case to the more contemporary 41mm cases seen in models like the Chronomaster Sport, Zenith has consistently adapted Chronomaster's design to suit modern tastes. These watches are most famously equipped with tricoloured chronograph sub-dials adorned in blue, grey, silver, and more hues. These dials add a vibrant, recognisable element to the collection.
Iterations
The Zenith Chronomaster collection masterfully integrates historical elegance with cutting-edge technology. The Chronomaster Original pays homage to the 1969 A386, featuring the El Primero 3600 movement, which offers a 60-hour power reserve and enhanced accuracy with its stop-seconds mechanism. This model captures the essence of its predecessor with distinctive design elements. The Chronomaster Revival series revisits classic designs while incorporating modern advancements. The Chronomaster El Primero Open stands out with its transparent aperture that reveals the balance wheel, which includes a silicon escapement for greater reliability and a 50-hour power reserve. The Chronomaster El Primero Tourbillon combines an elegant tourbillon complication with the El Primero movement, showcasing high horological craftsmanship and precision. The Chronomaster collection is a nod to Zenith's storied past and innovative future. With classic design and modern technology, these timepieces offer collectors and enthusiasts a perfect timeless style and advanced performance.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic El Primero movement, Zenith have introduced a fully redesigned automatic El Primero 3600 column-wheel chronograph. This exceptional movement measures and displays 1/10th of a second. It beats at a frequency of an astounding 36,000vph and generates a power reserve of 60 hours. It drives the Zenith Chronomaster watches and select Defy models, featuring a stop-second mechanism for precise timekeeping.
