About the Tudor Tudor Royal Collection
In the realm of luxury timepieces, the Tudor Royal collection stands as a beacon of sophistication and versatility. For the first time in the 1950s, the maison used the term ‘Royal' to exemplify the superior quality of their watches. Building upon this, Tudor Royal 8533 was released in the 1960s, encompassing the brand's savoir-faire. The Tudor Royal was reintroduced to the horological world as a full-fledged collection in 2020. The collection presents a fusion of sporty essence and refined elegance that embodies the brand's commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and timeless design. Distinctively, it features an integrated bracelet, a hallmark of luxury sports watches, while exuding a dressier aura, carving a sweet spot between sports and dress watches.
Design Sensibility
At the heart of its allure lies its design language, far from subdued or subtle. Instead, Tudor Royal proudly flaunts its unique and refined aesthetics through engaging details. Case in point—the crenellated bezel, distinguished by alternating fluted and polished finishes, serves as one of the most recognisable elements of the watch. Further, the Tudor Royal showcases its strength in craftsmanship through a sleek and angular case and an integrated five-link bracelet, enhancing its authoritative presence on the wrist.
Available in a diverse array of options, Tudor leave no stone unturned in catering to varied preferences. Since the beginning, the brand have always been size-inclusive, therefore the Royal collection boasts case sizes ranging from 28 to 41mm, well-suited for women and men. Certain features make the Tudor Royal shine through the brand's portfolio. In its 41mm iteration, equipped with a day-date complication, the Tudor Royal emerges as a true icon, commanding attention with its impeccable blend of functionality and style.
In essence, the Tudor Royal collection stands as a paragon of excellence with its compelling design sensibilities, technically superior materials, and accessible pricing.
