About the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Collection

Launched in 2004, the TAG Heuer Aquaracer collection has earned a stellar reputation for its outstanding diving watches that seamlessly blend style with functionality. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of professional divers while also appealing to enthusiasts of sporty and elegant timepieces, the Aquaracer collection boasts a diverse range of models with impressive water resistance ratings categorised under the Professional 200, Professional 300, and Professional 1000 series. The Aquaracer Professional 1000 stands out as one of the best dive watches in the industry, thanks to its remarkable water resistance and robust construction, making it a trusted companion for underwater adventures.

Beyond its prowess in the depths, the Aquaracer collection also offers exceptional everyday watches that effortlessly complement myriad tastes and sensibilities. TAG Heuer consistently introduce innovative elements to this collection, exemplified by the latest iteration of the Professional 200 featuring Solargraph technology powered by the calibre TH50-00. By harnessing solar energy, TAG Heuer take a proactive step towards sustainability while continuing to deliver cutting-edge timepieces that excel both in performance and style.

Features

Every Aquaracer watch proudly holds the sine qua nons of an ideal diver's watch, which comprises a screw-in crown, unidirectional bezel, sapphire crystal, and luminous markings. The unique 12-sided bezel with rider tabs is one of the most recognisable features of a TAG Heuer Aquaracer. While primarily the bezel carries a 60-minute scale, in some Aquaracer watches, the bezel comes decked in diamonds and is available in materials including gold, ceramic, and more. Additionally, the Aquaracer collection offers a variety of dial colours and material combinations, allowing wearers to choose a style that suits their preferences. In terms of function, the collection is home to simple time and date models as well as watches with chronograph, GMT, and alarm complications.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT

TAG Heuer designed their proprietary calibre TH31-00 in collaboration with AMT, a sister company of Sellita focussed on creating bespoke movements. As a result, TH31-00 is a power-packed automatic movement that exerts its supremacy with a COSC certification. This calibre offers an accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day while beating at a frequency of 28,800bph and provides an expanded power reserve of 80 hours. It ensures chronometric precision in many Aquaracer models with time and date functions. Due to exceptional performance, TH31-00 has already become a reliable choice for the brand. It is also being used as a base for other TAG Heuer movements, such as TH31-03, where TH31-00 is combined with a GMT module.
