About the Singer Reimagined Track1 Collection

Emerging from a collaboration involving Rob Dickinson, watch designer Marco Borraccino, and master watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht, the Track1 series was conceived as a unique reinterpretation of the chronograph. The collection is built on a foundation that prioritises the chronograph function above all else and is driven by the AgenGraphe 6361 calibre.

Essence And Design Language

Track1 showcases the essence of functional aesthetics through the revolutionary central display. This integrates the chronograph's hours, minutes, and seconds co-axially on the main dial, creating a visually distinct timekeeping experience. The periphery of the dial houses the time of day, shown by a unique digital display at six o’clock. This configuration not only enhances readability but emphasises the primary purpose of the collection: precise elapsed time measurement. The case, with its sleek, aerodynamic lines, echoes the craftsmanship seen in custom sports cars, particularly vintage Porsche models, a nod to Dickinson’s background. The hands, inspired by the rev counter needles of classic Porsches, reinforce the automotive theme and embody the principle of 'form follows function', a core aspect of Borraccino’s design philosophy.

The Track1’s iterations are as exclusive as they are inventive, each reflecting unique characteristics that appeal to collectors and horology enthusiasts alike. The initial Track1 launch edition set the benchmark with its titanium case and bold display, establishing the collection’s reputation. Following this, subsequent models, including the Track1 Geneva Edition, introduced refined case materials and colour schemes, combining advanced movement technology with sophisticated styling. The Geneva Edition’s luxurious finish and meticulous detailing brought an elevated level of elegance to the robust mechanics of the timepiece. Another notable variant is the Track1 Hong Kong Edition, which incorporates bold, contrasting colours and a sporty yet refined aesthetic, paying homage to the vibrant city that inspired its design. The Track1 Flamboyant Yellow Edition continues the collection’s tradition of innovation, adding striking colour elements that blend seamlessly with the watch’s performance-driven features. The emphasis on limited editions underscores Singer Reimagined’s commitment to exclusivity and horological artistry.

ABOUT THE MOVEMENT

The innovative Track 1 chronograph watches from Singer Reimagined are powered by a remarkable mechanism created by Agenhor, a Geneva-based manufacturer known for its complex watch movements. At the heart of these timepieces is the AgenGraphe chronograph calibre, which has been adapted into the Singer 6361 to enable the extraordinary features of the Track 1 watches. The Singer 6361 boasts a distinctive design, with the column-wheel chronograph mechanism positioned at the centre of an annular movement. Unlike most automatic watches, the Singer 6361 features its oscillating weight on the dial side, allowing for an unobstructed view of the movement through the exhibition caseback. This calibre operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 55 hours.
