I was looking for a stainless steel watch (so the color wouldn't rub off), day and date. I did one better with this watch's solar drive. Very solid watch. I have worn a resin case timex with a Velcro band for 10 years and it weighs nothing. I was concerned this watch would be too heavy but the strap is so comfortable that I don't know it's there. Hasn't lost a second in the week I've had it. The trick to removing links from the bracelet is to tap on the pin in the direction of the arrow on the inside of the band. The pins are pressed in and a tap is required to free them. I used a fairly heavy heavy paper clip as the punch. I contacted Seiko and ethos is an authorized dealer so if you buy from ethos the guarantee is honored. Great watch.
