Originally, Captain James Cook started his expedition during the middle ages but it was Rado who personified it on a wristwatch. Launched in 1962, the Rado Captain Cook collection first made its entry into the ever-growing segment of diving watches. The 60s Captain Cook has revived again in 2017 with the iconic Brevet case. The Captain Cook collection inculcates the essence and personality of the British explorer, Captain James Cook.

From being a sturdy diver's watch to a diamond-studded beaut, Captain Cook has travelled the cosmos with precision and elegance. Starting with the Captain Cook Automatic, the timepieces primarily feature a date window at 3 o'clock. This simple model is complemented by a uni-directional rotating bezel and a spinning anchor at 12 o'clock. Adding a sense of adventure to the collection, the Captain Cook Automatic Chronograph features a bi-compax style chronograph. Apart from the complications, the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic and High-Tech Ceramic Diver feature a ceramic case carefully crafted under the aegis of Rado. Rado, as a brand, has always garnered recognition for its penchant for crafting unique materials. In addition to ceramic, the Captain Cook Automatic Bronze is fitted with a bronze case making these timepieces age like a bottle of wine. For elegant women, the Captain Cook Automatic Diamonds is fitted with diamond index markers.

Made in collaboration with a French-Austrian designer, the timepiece features a beautiful white dial with an array of straps.
