Longines La Grande Classique

Design
Featuring an elegant and timeless design, the Longines La Grande Classique De L4.709.1.11.8 for men can be handed down for generations. It has a 33 mm round shaped case, that features rose gold PVD coating, and has a fixed bezel mounted on top. A minimally designed white dial is encased inside, with the Longines signature, and logo on the upper portion of the dial. Roman numerals are printed in black at the rim of the dial to mark the hours. Stick shaped hands in black for hour and minute functions adorn the centre of the dial.
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, making it resistant to scratches and other abrasions. A red gold plated crown is situated at the edge of the case, and it features notched edges to provide you with an enhanced grip. A rose gold plated links bracelet has been attached to the watch, with a hidden folding clasp at the end, making it easy to secure and remove.

Longines has been the official supplier of watches to the International Aeronautics Federation since 1919. In 1927, Longines had timed Charles Lindbergh’s first continuous solo crossing of the North Atlantic, which lasted for 33 hours and 30 minutes. Till now, 31 Tours de France have also been timed by the brand. Longines has also been a partner and sponsor of Andre Agassi’s Foundation of Education.
