About the Edouard Koehn Tempus III Collection

The Tempus III collection, launched in continuation of Edouard Koehn’s innovative approach, represents a new chapter in their chronograph series. Building on the technical achievements of previous models, this collection introduces two standout variations: the Tempus III Skeleton and the Tempus III Guilloché. Both models highlight the brand’s dedication to precision and craftsmanship while offering distinct aesthetics. At the heart of these watches is the Tri-Compax EK-CHR-MVT01, a self-winding chronograph movement developed by Concepto, a Swiss movement manufacturer known for high-end mechanical engineering.

Designs And Iterations

The Tempus III collection offers two distinctive design approaches: the Guilloché and the Skeleton models, each bringing a unique aesthetic and craftsmanship to the fore. The Tempus III Guilloché pays homage to traditional watchmaking with its beautifully engraved dial, utilising the centuries-old art of guilloché work. The intricate geometric patterns on the metallic surface reflect light captivatingly, creating a dynamic and ever-changing play of reflections depending on the wrist’s angle. This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design allows the Guilloché model to stand out, appealing to collectors who appreciate both history and contemporary aesthetics.

In contrast, the Tempus III Skeleton embraces a more modern and technical approach by revealing the inner workings of the EK-CHR-MVT01 movement. Through its skeletonised dial, the wearer can observe the mechanical intricacies, offering a deep appreciation for the movement’s complexity. This model’s transparency reflects Edouard Koehn’s dedication to showcasing mechanical sophistication, while the lightweight Grade five titanium case ensures that the watch remains comfortable to wear. Both models are complemented by their sporty titanium cases and ceramic bezels, with options in blue, green, black, and titanium finishes. These elements combine durability with refined design, making the Tempus III collection versatile for everyday wear while retaining the luxury and craftsmanship synonymous with Edouard Koehn.
