The Antarctique reflects the spirit of exploration, inspired by Sir Francis Drake, the English naval officer known for discovering the passage between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Design and Iterations

The name "Antarctique" captures the essence of adventure, paralleling the explorations of its namesake. The inaugural timepiece, the Antarctique Terre Adélie, encapsulated this theme, seamlessly blending elegant design with robust functionality, thus positioning itself firmly within the sport-chic category. Building up, the Passage de Drake series as Czapek's first sports watches, falls within the casual luxury segment. The 40.5 mm Antarctique model serves as a prime example of this philosophy.
