Collection Video Discover the BVLGARI BVLGARI Collection

The BVLGARI BVLGARI collection has been one of the brand’s most emblematic watches for over 40 years. The collection was born in 1975 when the Bulgari brothers decided to create a watch as an exclusive gift for their 100 best clients. What started as a gift became an enduring BVLGARI design, reinventing itself over the years.

The watch features pure, simple but robust lines inspired by ancient Roman coins. The BVLGARI logo is engraved twice on the bezel, earning the timepiece the nickname “BB”. Besides the clean, innovative design, the collection also features a chronograph variant. With the minute, hour, and seconds sub-dial fixed at 9,6, and 3 o’clock, the chronograph variants top it up with a date window snuggled between the hour and seconds sub-dial. For the travellers, there is a GMT variant too. With a long central hand displaying a 24-hour second-time zone, the watch clubbed with its heritage adds to the robustness of the collection. For women, the collection also features an iconic timepiece fitted with a coiled bracelet similar to the Serpenti but with the proprietary dial of the collection called the BVLGARI BVLGARI Tubogas watch.

Special Editions

Clubbing a perfectly fitted collection of various collaborations, the BVLGARI BVLGARI collection features various special edition timepieces. For example, the BVLGARI BVLGARI Aluminium Sorayama Special Editon is made in collaboration with Japanese artist Hajime Sorayame. Whereas, there is also a timepiece made in collaboration with Ducati that features the signature red palette on the dial from the Italian motorcycle manufacturer. There is also a GMT that is made as a tribute to the Italian Tall Ship, Amerigo Vespucci that currently serves under the Italian Navy as a school ship. Bringing a sense of idiosyncrasy to its collection, the brand collaborated with Japanese street designer Hiroshi Fujiwara by creating the BVLGARI BVLGARI Fragment Design Special Edition.

Bulgari introduced the Solotempo calibre BVL 191 in 2013. Its name is derived from the Italian words "solo tempo," which means "only time." This mechanical movement was entirely conceived, developed, and crafted in-house by Bulgari's best designers, engineers, and experts. The BVL 191 features automatic winding facilitated by a ceramic ball-bearing-mounted oscillating weight and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. It has a power reserve of 42 hours and can accurately record hours, minutes, seconds, and dates. Additionally, it features an instant date changer and a stop-seconds device for balance blockage when the crown is pulled. The movement also has a disconnecting system, which prevents wear on the pinions and conserves energy during winding via the crown or oscillating weight.
