Breitling Premier

History

Deriving its name from the French word that translates to “first”, the Breitling Premier collection was first launched in 1943. Launched for the sole purpose of positioning the brand in the premium segment, the first Premiers were equipped with gold cases or stainless steel cases. Even while being a gentleman’s timepiece, the Premier was fitted with a chronograph.

Features

Being the only collection fitted with various complications from the horological world, the Premier collection also fits inside the realm of traditionality. Borrowing most of its DNA from the early Premiers, most of the timepieces in the collection features a bi-compax chronograph on the dial. There are also variants with day/date, small seconds, and rattrapante complications. One timepiece that redefines the DNA of the brand is the Premier Datora. Made to pay homage to three generations of owners of Breitling, the Datora features a full calendar and a moon phase of the dial.

Breitling X Bentley

The Breitling Bentley relationship struck a match in 2002 when Bentley ascended the authority ladder yet again by coming up with the most powerful and unparalleled Bentley ever built, the Continental GT. On this joyous occasion, Breitling lent its years of expertise and personalized touch to the design of the technical instruments and the creation of the onboard clock for the luxury automobile. Association with a watch-making company was a first for Bentley and proved that the two authorities were meant to work on a larger scale together. Thus was created the stunning Breitling for Bentley collection of watches. One such timepiece is the Premier Chronograph Tourbillon Bently Boutique Edition, the only set of timepieces with a tourbillon inside the arsenal of the brand.
