History
An endeavour to make classic timepieces for the armed forces expanded into the ever accessible Breitling Colt collection in the 1980s. The novelty of the Colt series lies in the quintessentially Breitling features incorporated into these timekeepers. Features
The Breitling Colt offers some exclusive features that are distinctive to the Colt collection. With the signature Breitling feature, the broad unidirectional rotating bezel with a satin-brushed finish and engraved hour markers with 4 rider tabs; the Breitling Colt collection assumes a contemporary and unique look for the models. Another feature classic to Colt timepieces is the large and stylish screw-locked crown on a polished steel case. The models are generally water resistant to 200 metres (660 ft). A circular raised motif on the dial with the luminescent hour-markers makes for an eye-catching collection. The Breitling Colt collection is popular in Volcano Black, Mariner Blue and Stratus Silver colours painted on the dial. The satin-brushed steel bracelet may be replaced with a rubber or leather strap, according to the wearer’s choice. The new Colt model in the Colt 2014 collection features a stunning SuperQuartz movement reputed to be ten times more accurate than standard Quartz.

Events
2014 saw a revamp of the Breitling Colt collection with the launch of four enterprising additions, a Quartz chronograph model ,a Colt Quartz model, Colt Lady model and a Colt Automatic. Reaching out to give a fresh tug to the original military spirit, these time-pieces are incorporated with all the features a true Breitling watch stands for.
