The Breguet Classique Collection has been inspired by Abraham Louis Breguet’s styling. Thus it epitomizes the watchmaking ideology of elegant and refined designs, lucidity, and accuracy. Select models of the Classique wristwatches are made of precious materials with fired-enamel dials, giving them a sophisticated appeal. All the watches in this collection have leather straps of different shades and open-tipped Breguet style hands in blue, which give them a distinctive appearance. The casebands of all the watches are fluted- a signature Breguet feature. Most of the watches in the collection are ultra-slim and are manually wound or feature automatic movement. The collection features the quintessence of Breguet’s original features along with some contemporary additions. Different models include several bestselling features like the phases and age of the moon, power-reserve indicator, time zone indicator, water-resistance and more.
Breguet has received several awards for the watches in the Classique collection. The Classique 3637 got the Orologi Award for its Minutes Repeaters in 1996, the Classique Chronograph 5238 got the World Photo Press Awards in the Grand Prix in Prestige Category in 2003, the Classique 5177 received the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genéve in 2006, the Classique 5717 was the recipient of the Public Prize award in the Men's Watch Category in 2011 and the Classique Complications 3795 was bestowed with the Best Wristwatches of 2014 award.
