Tissot is one of the spearheads in introducing tactile technology (touch screen) into watch making. Introduced in 1999, it has gone through different layers of innovation and creativity. Tissot T-Touch Solar Expert is an epitome of touch screen watches, specially designed for adventure seekers. It comes with a bouquet of features, right from the altimeter, compass to measurement of relative atmospheric pressure. Powered by solar energy, it comes in a 43mm titanium case with PVD coating and sapphire crystal glass. Touch mode can be activated by pressing the crown, located near 3’o clock. Once activated, different features like altimeter (near 2’o clock), compass (near 6’o clock), timer (near 10’o clock) can be utilized. While using compass, the two time index hands behave like a compass indicator. Other measurements like altimeter, chrono, relative pressure can be visible in the small screen, located near 6’o clock.
