About the TAG Heuer Link Collection
History
One of their most iconic watch collections, the TAG Heuer Link collection was revamped in 2011. It was originally introduced in the 1980s and has been a big part of the brand's arsenal since then. The core of the Link collection is connected to its bracelet which offers a unique feel and look.
Design
The bracelet tends to be the standout factor for this collection with Tag Heuer having restructured the aesthetic substantially. The links in the bracelet tend to be flatter and angular with the space between the parts reduced compared to the older models. The bracelet was designed to have no exposed pins on either side illustrating some very ingenious engineering. The bezels stand out being polished, containing Roman or Arabic numerals. Instead of being round, the bezel ring tilts down giving it an interesting cushion shape.
Features
The elegant Link is available for both men and women. The TAG Heuer Link features a date window at the 3 o'clock position in most of the timepieces. These date windows are fitted between 4 and 5 o'clock in the chronograph variants. The Link Chronograph features a horizontally stacked configuration of the chronograph dials and two pushers controlling them. For women, the diamond-studded bezel adds to the opulence of the collection. In some of the timepieces, the diamond-studded index markers are complimented with mother-of-pearl dials.

Tag Heuer presents another classy model with new features in hand. Equipped with scratch resistant and sturdy sapphire crystal glass cover, chronographic features, black dial with effulgent hands and indices housed in a brushed steel case give a simplifies yet stylish look to this watch. This watch also offers a unique perpetual calendar till year 2099 which keeps you updated. Steel case of width 42mm with tachymeter inscribed on its bezel is a visual treat. This watch offers resistance to water upto a remarkable level of 200m which makes this watch suitable for every environment. Powered by quartz movements this time keeper gives precision and accuracy at the same time.

The calibre S was the next step in High precision Quartz watches before seiko came up with newer innovations but this watch proves beyond doubt, TAG is doing something with their quartz movements as well. Frankly, this is the only quartz I might splurge two hundred large ones on to. Swiss rhondas, really cost no more than 25 to 50 dollars to produce, but this one has so much research and development in it, you just need to get it for the history. I have the F1 version of this although I always wanted this to begin with, but I have large 8'' wrists so the F1 with the 44mm did better on them. The precision of the 5 independent motors just can not be beat. The seconds hand will have a slight play with it, but it's not a QC issue, it's to prevent straining of the mechanism. Party trick: Start chrono and stop it at 25s. It comes back to reset counter-clockwise!
