The Toccata highlights a silver dial with silver accents and is housed in a stainless steel case of 39mm. It has been engraved with silver polished indexes as hour markers on a silver backdrop. The band has been crafted with stainless steel bracelet secured with a fold over clasp and has an amazing classic appeal to it. The dial is protected with scratch resistant sapphire crystal.
Supported by an automatic movement, it has a date display window at 3 o’ clock. The watch is water resistant up to 50m. The functions can be managed by the silver polished crown embedded with a Raymond Weil logo. A small second’s sub dial is located at 6 o’ clock. This model portrays timeless elegance.
The Toccata collection by Raymond Weil draws inspiration from the legendary music virtuoso that acts as a channel for the composer’s deft skill. As a brand that is motivated by music by its own confession, Raymond Weil strives to achieve that perfection in composition through this collection. Minimalistic design with a refined elegance is the characteristic of this line, which provides masterpieces for men as well as women. Initially started in 1996, the line was discontinued, till it was re-launched in 2014 to provide the audience with a piece truly worth owning.
The simplistic make of watches from the Toccata collection sets them apart from other contemporary models. With a perfectly round shape, the case is available in 29, 39, and 42mm. It is constructed from stainless steel with yellow gold PVD coating in some models. The dial is available in shades of white, black, and blue. The hands of the watches from this sophisticated range are extremely sleek and streamlined, in a material matching that of the case. All models have minute and hour hands that are perfectly aligned to the time markers, marked by Roman numerals, applied indexes, and in some ladies’ versions, with radiant gems. The crown has corrugated edges for comfortable adjustments. Strap options include stainless steel with double push folding clasps or calf leather motif with the traditional buckle.
All watches from the Toccata collection operate on Swiss made quartz movements for precise timekeeping. The window located at the 3 o’clock positions of watches from this line allow easy viewing of the current date. The dial is protected by scratch proof sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Raymond Weil’s impeccable finish and advanced technology make this line of watches an advancement in horology, ideal for the pickiest of watch connoisseurs.

The dial is simple yet very classy looking.
At 38.5mm, the case is somewhat small compared to the current trend in men's watches (i.e. the size of a Big Ben alarm clock with a strap). Still, it's understated and very classy.
Sapphire crystal (to be expected at this price) for superior scratch resistance.
Extremely well manufactured case and bracelet.
Double deployant clasp.
Quartz movement for accurate time keeping, and unlike mechanical they rarely malfunction, require no maintenance and are cheap to replace if needed.
Can be worn with anything, from formal down to casual.
Prestigious Swiss watchmaking company (Check out their website).
There is no sweeping seconds hand, so you will not get accuracy to the second.
Quartz movement means you will have to have the battery changed, and lacks the charm a mechanical or automatic mechanical movement has.
