History
Rado is a Swiss watch making company, whose foundation was laid in 1917, but back then it produced watch movements only. In 1957, the brand launched its first collection of watches. This brand is today popular for its use of unusual materials in crafting watches, and also its innovative designs. The V10K of Rado, launched in 2004, holds the Guinness World Record the hardest watch in the world. Rado, with its team of experts, and extensive research has revolutionized design of watches. Design
The Rado R28888172-157.0888.3.017 belongs to the Ceramica collection of Rado. Timepieces of this collection are popular, as high-tech ceramic has been used in crafting them. The square black ceramic case of this watch protects the dial. Gold toned numerals have been engraved on the dial of the timekeeper. The unique shape of its dial, square shape with rounded corners, gives the watch an edgy look. Minute markers have been provided on the outer rim of the dial to ensure precise reading. The dial also features hour hands and a second’s hand, which have been filled with super-luminova, a luminescent marker, making them visible even in the dark.
The bracelet of this watch is black in tone, and has been made of high-tech ceramic too. The use of ceramic and sapphire glass makes this timekeeper for men lightweight, durable and stylish.

The case of this watch encases Swiss certified quartz movement, which runs on a durable battery. A display window at a 3 o’clock position indicates the date.
