Rado

History
Rado traces its origin from a small clockwork factory named Schlup & Company. It was founded by three brothers- Fritz, Ernst and Werner in Lengnau. They primarily manufactured clock movements only, later switching to timepieces under the brand name Rado, which was acquired in 1957. The world’s first ever scratch-resistant watch, the Rado DiaStar was launched by the brand in 1962. This range is still available for sale under the name DiaStar the Original. Rado specialized in the field of utilizing scratch-proof materials, making its timepieces available in more than 150 countries.

The Coupole collection, originally launched in 1987, has been enhanced and re-introduced with a trendy and chic appearance.

Design

Its black circular dial enables the timepiece to perfectly match your style. The hour markers have been specified by diamond studded indexes, while the stick shaped hour and minute hands are rose gold, perfectly complementing the dial.

The case window is made scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, protecting the watch from external wear and tear. Its bracelet is designed in stainless steel and rose gold, which holds a charm of its own. A folding clasp fastens the bracelet firmly on your wrist.
