Rado Original

History
Rado was started in 1917 by three brothers Firtz, Ernst and Werner Schlup, with its origin being in a small Swiss town called Lengnau. In the beginning they owned a clockwork factory which they named Schlup and Co. Later they became Rado Uhren AG and produced their first watch collection in 1957. With the creation of the world’s first scratch proof watch in 1986, they marked the commencement of an unusual success story in the history of watchmaking.

Design
The Rado Original Watch model R12413363 is a useful timepiece that also serves as decorative jewellery. It comes in a yellow gold plated oval case made of hard metal that is robust and sleek, rendering long-term service. The case measures 35 mm (without crown) in width and 42 mm in length. Its engraved gold dial imparts a royal appearance. The dial embodies gold coated hour, minute and second hands that ads to its magnificence. White crystal stones encrusted at each hour marker ensure time legibility even in partial darkness. Moreover, the yellow gold coated bezel made of hard metal has a gold recessed push-pull crown fixed to it for regulating time. Closed snap back, safeguards the internal machines from regular wear and tear.  A scratch resistant sapphire crystal window protects the dial from dents or scratches.
