History
Starting a producer of watch movements, within five years of its advent Rado surpassed most of the leading Swiss watch making brands. In 1962 they invented the world’s first ever scratch proof watch and named it Diastar 1- The Original. The secret behind this timeless wristwatch was the toughness of hard metal. At the same time, delicate glass was replaced by hard and transparent sapphire crystal for widows and case back.  

Design
The Rado Men’s Original Watch MODEL#: R12413264 shows a magnificent face of this brand. Coming in a yellow gold plated oval case made of hard metal, the watch is tough and classy. This polished case measures 42mm in length,with 35mm of width and 11mm of thickness. The gold metallized dial with crystal paved base adds to its radiance. It represents luminous gold hour, minute and second hands ensuring time visibility even in dim light. Diamond studded hour indicators mark the hours, giving the watch a dazzling effect. A gold plated push and pull crown attached to the gold plated bezel for adjusting time.
Coated with yellow PVD gold, its stainless steel bracelet imparts a vibrant look to it. This sturdy bracelet is 7mm in length and 18 mm in width. Moreover, the double fold titanium clasp with push button securely ties the watch to your wrist. It’s closed snap case back and scratch resistant sapphire crystal window safeguards the dial and intricate parts from regular wear and tear.

Features
The Rado Original watch is powered by the self-winding (mechanical automatic) movement made in Switzerland. Working on calibre of 648, it keeps perfect time. Being water resistant up to a depth of 30m, this watch is sweat proof. This makes it durable and efficient. The date aperture positioned at 6 o'clock displays the day and date.
