Oris is a Swiss brand synonymous with dive watches since its inception in 1904.with over a century of watch making expertise ,the brand had expanded its portfolio including diving, aviation and racing inspired special series.

The model featured here is hydrophilic Aquis Depth Gauge diver series timepiece. mechanical watches compose of metallic gears and other intricate mechanism and water is a strict no for these watches but here we have a iconoclast , incorporating a patented technology that measures depth by allowing water I'm to the sapphire crystal.the luminescent gradations highlight the depth.this marvellous feature is incorporated without compromising on an impressive water resistance of 500 m.

The solid stainless steel case with an unidirectional bezel to calculate elapsed dive time.rubber strap with a double lock clasp ensures secure fastening. 46mm is slightly above the normal sizes.

Overall verdict: Great Swiss watch with an amazing feature at an amazing price. Must have for divers ( with regular deep sea dives)

It's the comfort of the all titanium construction, the precise and well executed dial, the regulateur function to name a few. But, what really makes me like this watch is simply that it is different from the heard. The uni-directional rotating bezel is ceramic, rather than steel or titanium, making it very resistant to scratches. The crystal is scratch-resistant sapphire, and it is slightly domed, making it easier to read when viewed at an angle. It looks, feels and functions in its own way, a way that is distinctly Oris. No, it doesn't reinvent the dive watch, far from it, but it doesn't try to ape others’ designs either. And, it maintains a clean, handsome look.
