In 1858, Louis Brandt, an extremely gifted watch maker founded the brand Omega in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland. Omega, one of the foremost luxury watch brands, set a world precision record when it was awarded 97.8 points at the Kew-Teddington chronometer trials in England.
The Omega Aqua Terra 150 M Co-Axial Chronograph 44 mm 22.214.171.124.09.001 model for men, is exclusively crafted to pay tribute to Omega’s rich maritime heritage. Its stylish ivory dial displays the Teak Concept, which is reminiscent of wooden decks of luxury sailboats. The thirty minute sub-dial is positioned at 3 o’ clock, the 12-hour recorder is placed at 6 o’ clock and a small seconds sub-dial is positioned at 9 o’ clock. You can view the date in the date aperture located between 4 o’ clock and 5 o’ clock. The dial comes enclosed in a sturdy 44 m stainless steel case. A bezel is mounted on the stainless steel case and the watch can be securely fastened to your wrist owing to its durable stainless steel bracelet.
You can take the pleasure of viewing the intrinsic movements of the watch through its transparent case back. The timekeeper is completely shatterproof as it has a sapphire crystal case window. Moreover, the anti reflective coating of the crystal enhances sunlight legibility.
Powered by the Omega Co-Axial calibre 3313, the watch offers impeccable time. The watch boasts of greater precision and stability because of its self- winding movement with column wheel mechanism, as well as co-axial escapement. It has a power reserve of 52 hours and a water resistance to a depth of 150 metres, which means you can swim, dive or snorkel wearing the watch without damaging it.
Omega watches have been the official time keeper of one of the most prestigious sports events, the Olympics since the year 1932.
Launched in the year 1948, the Omega Seamaster Collection was inspired by the waterproof watches made toward the end of World War II for the British military. The watches in this collection have acclaimed worldwide fame due to their combination of exceptional stability and awe-inspiring designs. These watches are ideal for serious underwater sports and adventures.
This collection features several amazing series under it. The Planet Ocean 600M Collection showcases several watches with stunning designs and exclusive Co-axial movements. The Aqua Terra 150M Gents’ collection is easily recognizable because of its “Teak Concept” pattern on the dials. The Seamaster Aqua Terra Ladies’ Collection was the first to be equipped with the cutting-edge anti-magnetic Omega Master Co-Axial calibres. Available in lacquered black or blue dials, the Diver 300M Collection showcase white skeletonized hour and minute hands. The Ploprof 1200M is equipped with Co-axial caliber 8500 and is water-resistant up to 1200 meters. The winding crown located at the 12 o’clock position, surrounded by the two chronograph pushers at its sides; give the Bullhead collection its unique name.
In the James Bond movies since the release of GoldenEye in 1995, the character has consistently worn an Omega Seamaster. The Omega brand ambassador, Michael Phelps, an Olympic swimmer and multiple times gold medallist, wears the Seamaster Planet Ocean.
