Featuring a sporty design, the Omega Seamaster Diver 300 M Co-Axial 36.25 mm 188.8.131.52.03.001 is robustly built. It has a 36.25 mm stainless steel case, with polished and bevelled edges and a distinctly designed blue dial ensconced inside. A unidirectional rotating brushed steel bezel with blue ceramic fill is mounted on top of the case. Steel numbers and indexes in satin finish are engraved on the bezel. The blue lacquered dial has a date window situated at the 3 o’clock position, where you can easily view the date.
Steel rimmed dot and stick shaped indexes with luminescent fill mark the hours. Minute tracks are also printed in white at the rim of the dial for ease in reading the time. Skeleton hands in polished steel also feature luminescent filled tips, enabling you to easily read the time underwater. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal has been used to protect the dial and the transparent caseback, making them resistant to scratches. The watch is presented in a brushed stainless steel bracelet with polished links and a push button foldover clasp at the end.
The Omega Co-Axial caliber 2500 is situated at the heart of the watch, which beats at the rate of 25,200 vibrations per hour. This self-winding chronometer movement with rhodium-plated finish contains 27 jewels that reduces the amount of friction and ensures smoothness while extending its longevity. Less friction also reduces the need of lubrication, thus you will not have to get your watch serviced time and again. You can use this watch while snorkelling, swimming, and diving as it is water resistant to a depth of 300 m. It has a power reserve of 48 hours, so the movement does not get disrupted even if you don’t wear it for 2 days.
Since the year 1932, Omega has been the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games.
Launched in the year 1948, the Omega Seamaster Collection was inspired by the waterproof watches made toward the end of World War II for the British military. The watches in this collection have acclaimed worldwide fame due to their combination of exceptional stability and awe-inspiring designs. These watches are ideal for serious underwater sports and adventures.
This collection features several amazing series under it. First introduced in 1957, the Seamaster 300 Master Co-axial features the same dark dial, symmetrical case, big numbers and hands, and lighter indexes like its predecessor. The Planet Ocean 600M Collection showcases several watches with stunning designs and exclusive Co-axial movements. The Aqua Terra 150M Gents’ collection is easily recognizable because of its “Teak Concept” pattern on the dials. The Seamaster Aqua Terra Ladies’ Collection was the first to be equipped with the cutting-edge anti-magnetic Omega Master Co-Axial calibres. Available in lacquered black or blue dials, the Diver 300M Collection showcase white skeletonized hour and minute hands. The Ploprof 1200M is equipped with Co-axial caliber 8500 and is water-resistant up to 1200 meters. The winding crown located at the 12 o’clock position, surrounded by the two chronograph pushers at its sides; give the Bullhead collection its unique name.
In the James Bond movies since the release of GoldenEye in 1995, the character has consistently worn an Omega Seamaster. The Omega brand ambassador, Michael Phelps, an Olympic swimmer and multiple times gold medallist, wears the Seamaster Planet Ocean.
