Tastefully designed, the Omega Constellation Co-Axial 38 mm 18.104.22.168.63.001 model symbolises elegance and precision. The model showcases an artistic brown dial encrusted with intricately cut diamond set indexes as hour markers and rose gold hour and minute hands. You can view the date in the date window, stylishly positioned at 3 ‘o clock. The 18 k rose gold bezel is mounted on the 38 mm stainless steel case of the timekeeper, which has Roman numerals engraved on it acting as hour markers. This watch features an equally beautiful and sturdy bracelet with alternate bars of rose gold and steel, and has a pushbutton foldover clasp, which does not let the watch slip easily.
You can view the internal movement of the watch through its transparent caseback. The domed sapphire crystal case window of the watch safeguards it from scratches as well as damage. Moreover, its anti reflective coating allows you to see the time even in bright sunlight.
Equipped with one of the most advanced watch mechanisms, the Omega Co-Axial calibre 8500 movement, the watch shows perfect time. The self winding movement provides the watch with greater stability and durability and the free sprung balance of the watch enables you to wind it both ways. In addition to that, the oscillating mass as well as the bridges of the watch are adorned with exclusive Geneva waves. It has a superb power reserve of 60 hours and water resistance of 100 m, which permits you to indulge in an enjoyable swim wearing the watch.
Many eminent personalities from various walks of life flaunt their favourite Omega models. John F. Kennedy, Tom Hanks, Adam Savage and Steve Austin are only a few names to mention among them. Omega’s never ending list of aficionados even includes names like Prince Williams and Joe Bidden.
The Constellation Collection by Omega was launched in 1952, has since been renowned for its ultra precise movements and elegantly refined cases. Century, a limited edition wristwatch unveiled in 1948 on the firm’s 100th anniversary, is the progenitor of the collection. Due to the overwhelming response received by this watch, the brand launched the Constellation collection, which imbibed the same qualities. In 1982, the Constellation “Manhattan” was launched, with which the four claws or “griffes” were introduced that keeps the sapphire crystal case intact to securely render the watch waterproof.
The Omega Constellation collection has been exemplified in several sub collections that include the Gents’ Collection, Ladies’ Collection, Orbis Constellation Star, Sedna, and the Luxury Edition. The watches in the Gents’ collection feature distinctive design factors – the renowned claws on the case, horizontal links for utmost comfort, and a Constellation star, which is situated at the 6o’ clock position. Featuring a vast range of watches with different sizes, metals, dials, and diamond options to choose from, the Ladies’ Collection contains at least one watch to suit every wrist. The Orbis Constellation Star supports Orbis International – which gives advanced eye care to some of the most inaccessible regions in the world, and it’s Flying Eye Hospital. An 18-carat rose gold alloy, consisting of copper, palladium, and at least 75% gold, has been used to craft the Constellation Sedna. This breathtaking alloy adds an innovative and stunning appeal to the watch, giving it a long lasting rose-coloured hue. The magnificent Omega Constellation Luxury Edition watches showcase multitude of diamonds in spectacular supernova pattern, which dazzles the eyes of the onlooker.
A gold Omega Constellation “Manhattan” was worn by the former president of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev. One of the 20th century’s most popular musicians, cultural icon, actor, and American singer, Elvis Presley had worn a black-dialled Constellation Calendar.
