Initiated in the year 1832 in Saint-Imier by Auguste Agassiz, this brand began its journey by producing pocket watches. By 1867, it had established its very first factory with an aim of developing a mechanized form of production. The start of 20th century meant a lot of new innovations for the brand. In 1913, they marked the launch of their very first wristwatch collection, and by mid-century they had their very first Quartz clock designed. With an established brand name, all that Longines focused on was better performance, unique style and higher accuracy. With its tagline as “Elegance is an Attitude,” it aims at setting a new benchmark in the vast market of watches. Now celebrating more than 180 years of global presence, it has acquired great acknowledgements in over 140 countries, making it a leading trend-setter.

The movements used to power the collection comprise L178 Quartz and L176 Quartz, among a few others. The case-window is made of a scratch-resistant sapphire-crystal that renders the timepieces resilient and durable.
