Jaeger-LeCoultre Master

History
French watchmaker Edmond Jaeger conceived ultra-thin movements and challenged Swiss manufacturer LeCoultre & Cie to make these movements a reality. What resulted was a collaboration that gave rise to a series of ultra-thin pocket watches headed by the LeCoultre 145 Calibre, the thinnest of its time at a breathtaking 1.38mm. Only 400 copies of the watch were ever made. The Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin 1907 Q1292520 is a celebration of the brand’s ultra-thin watches.
Design
Shaped like a knife blade, the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin 1907 Q1292520 measures a mere 4.05mm in thickness and has a case diameter of 39mm. It has the Jaeger LeCoultre calibre 849 movement, which is crafted, assembled and decorated by hand by the manufacturer in-house. It features 123 parts and has a solid 35 hour power reserve once it is fully wound. At 21,600 vibrations per hour, the watch has a balanced beating.
The pink gold case houses a grained white dial with two dauphine-type hands and baton type hour markers. You can find twin markers at 3, 6 and 9 O’clock positions. JLC’s attention to detail is evident from the minute markers, which are dusted with rose gold. The dial is protected by scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal, which helps it retain its magnificent looks for a very long period. It is also anti-reflective, allowing better sunlight legibility.
This JLC luxury watch has a black alligator leather strap that can be secured to your wrist using a pink gold pin buckle.
Features
The functions on this JLC watch are basic, as the stress here is on minimalistic luxury. This round dial watch has an hour hand and a minute hand.  As simple as it looks, it has a tightly built case that provides waterproofing down to a depth of 30 metres.
