Frederique Constant has been a strong force in the market of accessible luxury timepieces since its inception in 1988, when the Dutch entrepreneur Peter Stas and his wife Aletta Bax founded the company in Plan-les-ouates, Geneva. The FC-330S6B6 was launched by the brand under the Classics range and features an evergreen design, which is coveted by connoisseurs across the globe.
Presented on a shiny black crococalf leather strap, the FC-330S6B6 model is a perfect example of understated design and breakthrough technological innovations. With a white dial contained within a 43 mm stainless steel case, the size of the watch is far from shy. The face of the watch appears intricately detailed without appearing cluttered. Dauphine hour and minute hands move flawlessly across the dial and add a touch of sophistication to the watch. Applied indexes serve as hour markers and the perimeter of the dial has been adorned with arabic numerals, which represent the days of the months. A moonphase window at the 6 o’clock position records the lunar positions of the moon as it moves across the sky, which makes this model a unique time implement. Protecting the unique dial is a convex sapphire crystal that renders the watch the ability to resist scratches and makes it virtually shatterproof.
Drawing inspiration from the celestial object, which has continued to be the subject of folklores, myths, speculations and legends, the FC-330S6B6 model follows the lunar movement and uses an impressive new technology known as “laser ablation" which allows designers to create an elaborately detailed image of the moon. The screwed in crown ensures that the watch is highly water resistant and can withstand ocean pressure to a depth of 100 meters without getting adversely impacted. This makes it possible for you to wear it even during activities like snorkelling and swimming. Equipped with the FC-330 caliber, the watch is highly reliable and precise. 26 jewels have been used in making the mechanism which beats at 28'800 alt/h. The use of jewels ensure that the watch works under reduced conditions of friction, thereby providing it with the ability to function for long intervals without the need of servicing. Watch aficionados can also witness the beauty of the movement through the skeleton case back of the model.
Founded in 1988, Frederique Constant is one of the finest manufacturers of luxury wrist-watches, based in Geneva. Since 2002, Frederique Constant has also owned Alpina Watches, a Swiss Sports Company, founded in 1883. The Art Deco Collection

It was a period characterised by uninhibited freedom. The collection pays tribute to that time period. The name of the collection has been derived from the title of an exhibition in Paris, called the ‘Exposition des Arts Décoratifs’, in 1925.
