The sporty and executive Villeret collection features sophisticated chronographs named after Blancpain’s native place of Villeret, where the first ever production of these stunning timepieces took place in 1735. Flaunting timeless aesthetics from Blancpain’s most classical collection, The Blancpain Villeret 6654-1127-55B for men embodies a suave designing approach adopted from the ancient roots of the prime principles of the brand. Perfectly crafted out of a stainless steel base, this time keeper incorporates a silver hued polished steel bezel housing a white polished dial. This dial is engraved with silver toned Roman numerals as the hour indexes of the watch, while the minute marks are painted in Arabic numerals on the inner rim. Silver toned serpentine hands and a blue curvy second’s arm add the finishing touch to the dial. The silver lugs are held firmly by a black alvazel lined alligator leather strap provided with a folding clasp to allow easy wearing and removing, anytime.

One of the most recent contributions to the Villeret family is the Villeret 8 Day with Grand Feu Enamel Dial, a happy addition to the 2014 collection. This model boasts of an in-house Blancpain movement (Calibre 1335) with a full 8 day power reserve. Grand Feu is an extremely stable material which helps showcase the watches strengthened ties with tradition. The enamel is made by layering pigments and repeatedly firing at high temperatures. In this case, the hour-markers are painted in enamel while construction and not on the enamel as is usually the norm. This ensures that the enamel set paint does not wear off with time as is wont to happen in other watches.
