Blancpain was founded by Jehan-Jaques Blancpain in 1735 in Villeret, Switzerland. The brand’s famous collection, the Villeret series is named after his village.
The Villeret series is one of Blancpain’s most celebrated collections with the return to traditional watchmaking. Blancpain Villeret Quantieme Complet Demi-Savonnette 6664-3642-55B particularly is the classiest of the series.

This model boasts of an in-house Blancpain movement (Calibre 1335) with a full 8 day power reserve. Grand Feu is an extremely stable material which helps showcase the watches strengthened ties with tradition. The enamel is made by layering pigments and repeatedly firing at high temperatures. In this case, the hour-markers are painted in enamel while construction and not on the enamel as is usually the norm.
