In 1931, Jaeger-LeCoultre added a jewel in its crown by responding to the challenge set by British officers stationed in India: they needed a watch that could withstand the knocks of a polo game. Jaeger-LeCoultre created the Reverso, which soon became a legend owing to its revolutionary swivel system.
